MWONET privacy notice

MWONET uses this website and member platform to manage membership applications, profiles, forms, program participation, leadership records, approved financial records and administrative activity.

Information we may collect

Depending on the service used, the system may collect a person’s name, email address, phone number, date of birth, membership area, form responses, membership status, member number and records that MWONET is authorized to maintain for organizational administration.

Why information is used

Information is used to review membership, provide member-portal access, communicate official notices, manage programs and events, maintain organizational records, respond to enquiries and support accountability.

Access and security

Administrative access is role-based. Passwords are stored as one-way cryptographic hashes and are not visible to administrators. Sensitive administrator sessions use signed HTTP-only cookies. Administrative changes are recorded in an audit log where applicable.

Financial information

The platform records organizational transaction references and approved entries for accountability. It is not a bank, payment gateway or substitute for original receipts and source records.

Sharing and retention

Personal information should only be accessed by authorized MWONET officers for legitimate organizational purposes. MWONET should retain records only for as long as required for membership, governance, financial accountability, legal or operational needs.

Your responsibility
